writer and photographer based in south-east
England, within easy reach of central London.
Her work covers travel destinations worldwide and encompasses a wide range of topics from soft adventure in Grenada, fly fishing in Ireland and golf in Arizona, to orchid gardens in the Caribbean and hidden gardens in Devon and Cornwall; from classic car touring to executive jet travel; from Montreal’s slow food scene to cookery schools in Jersey, and from luxury spa hideaways in Thailand to snowmobiling in Quebec’s white wilderness. |
An accomplished photographer, Linda has a wide range of photographs in her library and regularly supplies images to accompany her writing; her images have also been published alongside other writers’ work in national publications. As a keen golfer, Linda has written many articles on UK and international golf destinations.

DOLPHINS FOR BREAKFAST
"Breakfast was very, very different to the norm. I didn't expect to find dolphins on the menu at the Crinan Hotel, an intimate 'gourmet' hotel at the north end of the Crinan Canal on Argyll's wild coastline. Oysters, jumbo prawns, lobsters, would not have been a surprise... after all, shellfish are landed daily 50 yards from the hotel's kitchen. But to have 20 dolphins or more, blatantly displayed at breakfast-time with their tiny calves alongside was almost too much to bear. I couldn't. I jumped up from the table, ran out of the restaurant, camera in hand. What a thrilling sight... dolphins galore, jumping and playing in the loch just yards from the hotel...."
